Ipod Help

ok well its time for me to upgrade my ipod again and well i had all my songs all saved and stuff but then my comp crashed (a while back) and lost everything.

Since i lost everything i would have to write all my songs down, then re download them all.

Thats is such a pain that it wouldnt be worth it so is there a way i can get my songs off of my ipod onto my comp?

I'm gonna be the one to ask this question I guess. You did extract the files from the rar before trying to run them right?

yes i pressed extract at the top and tried. and if i try to open the things at the back that has .exe then it says i need a certain volume to run it. and to enter a cd or somethin. any help?
